France had a difficult start to this World Cup qualifiers, when they started out with a goalless draw with Belarus. Since then, they quickly bounced back. Les Blues have three straight wins and are currently leading the group, with three points clear Netherlands and Sweden.
France will also be huge favorites this evening against Luxembourg. Luxembourg are yet to win in this World Cup qualifiers campaign, with only one point to follow from 4 matches. This point came by playing a 1-1 draw with Belarus in the third round.
The visitors from France managed a very important victory against Sweden in the previous round, thanks to goals from Paul Pogba and Dimitri Payet.
Didier Deschamps France has a strong attacking potential with Antoine Griezmann and Kevin Gameiro. However, keep an eye on starlet Kylian Mbappe who are having a tremendous campaign for Monaco scoring 19 goals and made 11 assist so far. His good form has resulted in his first ever call-up by Les Bleus.
The clash between the two sides will take places this evening with kick off at 20:45 CET at the Josy Barthel Stadion in Luxembourg.
