Dortmund’s last quarter final appearance was in 2013/2014 were they lost to Real Madrid despite coming with a 2-0 lead from their first leg.

Monaco’s last quarter final was in 2014/15 were they lost against Juventus.

This clash will be the first ever meeting between the two clubs in a European competition.
