The Brazilian winger moves to Juventus from Bayern München on a one-year loan deal, which could become permanent.
Juventus has made the signing of the Brazilian winger Douglas Costa official. The Italians will pay an initial fee of €6m for a one-year loan deal. However, the deal includes a purchase option valued at €40m next summer. The purchase option becomes mandatory after Costa reaches a number of appearances.
Last season, Douglas Costa made 34 appearances at Bayern München even though he admitted in February that he wasn’t happy in München. During his time at the German club, he won two Bundesliga titles, the DFB-Pokal and the DFL-Supercup after his move from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2015.
