Liverpool have allegedly offered a contract worth of £12.5m to the 22-year-old Atletico Madrid striker
Liverpool have according to Foot Mercato made a 5-year-long contract proposal worth of £12.5m for the Argentinian striker, and is allegedly in negotiations with the player. According to the report, Atletico would let him leave for a transfer fee of £25m. However, with Atletico’s transfer not ending before January 1, Liverpool could be in for a challenge to land the striker.
The Argentinian has been showing promising play over the last few seasons, and made 8 goals and 8 assists despite only starting on the field 15 times last season. The player has often been compared to Carlos Tevez and Sergio Agüero in his playing style.
