Here, the Brazilian forward was asked about his relationship with Messi, and he denied that there existed any battle between the two to score more goals.
According to Sport, he said: “I don’t care who scores if we win together. It’s a team sport and when Leo scores a goal I’m happy. As well as teammates, we’re friends off the pitch and the important thing is we’re happy, and if we win everyone is happy. That’s our goal”.
Neymar also spoke about Japan, which he likes a lot: “I’ve visited Japan several times and whenever I’ve come I’ve enjoyed it. The people in Japan are very hospitable and I like Japanese food a lot”.
