Thomas Lemar is not happy with Monaco’s idea of blocking his dream move to Arsenal.
Thomas Lemar has been linked with a move away from Monaco after his outstanding performance last season. The France international was a key player for the club, making 34 appearances. He’s been on Arsenal’s radar this summer and it seems like he is really keen on the idea of joining the Gunners. According to the Daily Star, Lemar cannot wait to play under Arsène Wenger at the Emirates. If Monaco try to block his move to England, the youngster is said to cause a bust-up.
Monaco have already lost a number of key players, who have left to join bigger clubs in Europe. Bernando Silva was the first one to leave the French side as he signed for Manchester City. Tiemoue Bakayoko signed with Chelsea. Kylian Mbappe and Benjamin Mendy are also heavily linked with moves away from Monaco, as the club has reportedly put their foot down in their attempt to keep the rest of their squad for the forthcoming season.
Monaco had an impressive last season as they won Ligue 1 for the first time in 17 years and reached the Champions League semi-finals.
