Antonio Conte is positive an agreement can be reached.
According to Spanish media Don Balon, Chelsea are preparing a move for Atletico Madrid star Yannick Carrasco. The Premier League champions have prepared a five-year contract for their target as they try to lure him to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are ready to double the player’s £32,000 weekly wage to convince him to join the Premier League. Atletico Madrid’s embargo, however, might prove to be a reason that would prevent the player from joining Chelsea. Carrasco was linked with a Bayern Munich move, but it was exactly Atletico’s transfer ban that made the deal fall apart.
Despite all the odds, Chelsea are confident an agreement can be reached as Diego Simeone’s side did sign a player – Sevilla winger Vitolo who will go out on-loan to Las Palmas for half a year.
