The player’s nightmare has finally come to an end.
Sevilla have confirmed the signing of Manchester City forward Nolito who signed a three-year deal with the Spanish club.
The striker travelled to Spain on Sunday as he passed his medicals and met with club officials. Not long after he signed a contract with Sevilla that will keep him in Andalusia for a period of three years.
Nolito had an impressive spell at Celta before he moved to the Premier League in 2016. He was off to a good start as he scored three goals in his first three games but afterwards it has all been downhill for the forward who repeatedly failed to deliver. The 30-year-old will travel to Madrid to arrange his visa as he is supposed to join his new teammates in Japan on Tuesday for their pre-season.
