Real Madrid do not plan on selling Gareth Bale insists Florentino Pérez
Los Blancos president Florentino Pérez confirmed that Gareth Bale will not be sold in the near future.
Jose Mourinho suggested that Manchester United woul try to sign Bale if he did not play in Skopje, but the Welshman even started the match and assisted Isco for Real’s second goal.
“Every win is important to us, but we’re going step by step,” Pérez said after the game, according to Football Espana.
“Bale? I don’t plan on selling him. He’s a Madrid player, he’s important for us and he’s one of the world’s best.
“Signings? I don’t think there will be any more, we already have great players.
“Mine and Zidane’s idea after winning the Champions League was to do nothing and keep the team as it was.
“Barca without Neymar? Barcelona have a great team and it’ll be two very difficult matches against them [in the Supercopa].
“We’ll try to beat them with the same enthusiasm as we had tonight.”
