The youngster missed a training session without a reasonable explanation amid Barcelona rumours.
Dortmund manager Peter Bosz has revealed that Dembélé did not participate in Borussia’s training on Thursday amid links with the Catalans. The player has ever since been suspended and fined by the Bundesliga club for missing his training session with BVB confirming they rejected Barcelona’s bid.
“Ousmane Dembélé has missed the BVB-training today and has obviously decided to take this step. We will of course sanctify this misconduct,” said director of football Michael Zorc to BVB’s official website.

Meanwhile Peter Bosz said the following on the matter, according to Eurosport.
“Ousmane Dembélé was not in training today. We do not know why. We tried to reach him but we did not.
“There was no sign yesterday that Ousmane Dembélé would not be here today. We hope nothing terrible has happened.”
The youngster’s future remains uncertain as Barcelona are keen to lure him to Camp Nou, however, they would have to spend big since Borussia Dortmund will not let him go so easily.
