Neymar slams Barcelona’s board

The Brazilian insists his former club deserves more when it comes to leadership.

Paris Saint-Germain new star Neymar has hit out at Barcelona’s board, saying the Catalans deserve more than what they have. The 25-year-old departed from Spain this summer and joined Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain in a record move worth €222m.

Neymar has been off to a flying start in France as just in two games he already has 3 goals and 3 assists for the Parisiens.

“When I arrived, everything started well but then… at Barcelona, there are directors that shouldn’t be there. I’m very sad with them,” he said as quoted by Football Espana.

“I had four very happy years there, but Barca deserve much better. I have a lot of friends there, I hope things get better for Barca and that they go back to being a team that can compete.”
