Draxler set to move back to Bundesliga

Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich, are reportedly interested in bringing Julian Draxler back to Bundesliga.

According to German outlet WAZ, Draxler looks set to leave PSG this summer, after the arrival of Neymar in Paris. The French club are thought to be asking around €40m for their winger, an amount considered bargain in today’s market by Bayern Munich.

The former Wolfsburg man is seen as the perfect solution to add width to Bayern’s play, as they have sold Douglas Costa to Juventus. James Rodriguez, who arrived on Allianz Arena this summer from Real Madrid, was ruled out by injury and already missed the Bundesliga debut.

Draxler scored ten goals in 25 appearances for PSG and has attracted interest from Premier League rivals Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United. But neither of them made a move for the 23-year-old, who now seems set to return to Germany.
