Antonio Conte is looking to add another wing-back to his squad and has turned his attention to the former Manchester City player.
After Oxlade-Chamberlain’s refusal to join Chelsea, because of the position he was going to be played in, Antonio Conte has set his sights on another right wing-back that could fill in a position that Victor Moses owns now.
Out-of-contract Bacary Sagna is being targeted for a move to Stamford Bridge, according to Daily Star. Chelsea have also been linked with late moves for Cedric Soares and Rafinha. But Southampton have made it clear that they have no intention to sell Cedric, while Bayern Munich also seem uninterested in letting their right-back go.
This has prompted Chelsea to try to sign Bacary Sagna, the former right-back of Manchester City. Although he is now 34, Sagna played 25 matches for the Citizens last season and could prove to be a good solution for at least one season.
