The centre-back has put the pen on a five-year contract.
Tottenham have completed the signing of Juan Foyth. The 19-year-old has been a target for Spurs throughout the whole window, but the negotiations between the north London club and Estudiantes were quite slow.
Yet, Pochettino’s side has finally announced the youngster as their latest signing, with just 1 day left before the close-season ends. However, the Spurs have decided not to disclose the amount they have paid for the youngster.
“We are delighted to announce the signing of Juan Foyth from Estudiantes,” reads a statement by the club.
“The 19-year-old defender has signed a contract with the Club until 2022.
“Having established himself in Estudiantes’ first team, Juan has represented Argentina at Under-20 level 12 times and was a key member of their 2017 FIFA Under-20 World Cup and 2017 Under-20 South American Championship squads.”

Foyth is known for his great skill with the ball and his ability to move things forward, which is a great asset for any centre-back.
