The Spanish forward has gone to London, but Tottenham is the club, not Chelsea.
The Spurs have announced the signing of Fernando Llorente from Swansea City in a £15m deal. The 32-year-old rejected to join reigning champions Chelsea, who also submitted a late bid for his services.
The striker becomes Tottenham’s second deadline-day addition following the arrival of Serge Aurier from Paris Saint-Germain.
Llorente joined the Swans last summer and scored 15 goals for the club, helping the club to avoid relegation from the Premier League. Before that the Spaniard managed to score 111 goals for Athletic Bilbao in all competitions between 2005 and 2013.
