Tottenham surely have a tough task ahead of them after being drawn in a group with Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
Spurs forward Harry Kane has called upon his team-mates to approach every game with no fear as they prepare to face some of Europe’s finest sides. The club from north London did not have its best campaign last season when it comes to performance on the European scene, winning just two games out of six.
However, Kane believes his team is able of surprising the masses by taking down some of the biggest clubs in the competition.
“It’s 50-50 really. If you’re in the Champions League you want to be playing the best teams. We’re playing them in the group stages. You’re going to have to play them one way or another,” the Englishman said, according to sports360.
“If we can get through the group we’re in there’s no reason we can’t go further in the competition.
“We’ve got a great team and we know the style and the way we want to play. We’ve got a philosophy here and it’s about being stronger than as individuals.”
