Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s recovery is going very well and the Swede has already announced when he expects to be back in action.
Jose Mourinho will be happy to find out that he will be able to count on Ibrahimovic for the Arsenal derby that will take place in December.
Having reached the age of 36, Zlatan signed a new deal with Manchester United, after allowing his previous one to finish in the summer, due to an injury that he suffered during the Europa League semifinals against Anderlecht. United were not willing to take any chances at that point, but after the successful surgery and the development of the recovery process, the Red Devils decided to offer the striker a new one-year deal.
And now Ibrahimovic could appear in his first official match of the season on the 2nd of December, during the derby between Arsenal and Manchester United, on Emirates, according to The Mirror.
Recently, Ibrahimovic said: “I have trained every day since I had my knee operated on, there is no vacation. It’s a new challenge but I am strong mentally and when I focus on an objective nothing can stop me.”
