The striker has had no trouble finding the back of the net for both club and country in recent games as he warns there will be many more to come.
Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus has made a statement that he will not be contained as he ‘lives for goals’. The youngster had a run of four matches without scoring a goal, but this run is now over as he rediscovered his goal-scoring form with Brazil and Manchester City. The 20-year-old has 14 goals in 21 appearances for the Citizens, but insists he will get even better in the future.
Speaking to Manchester Evening News following yet another remarkable display for City against Stoke, Jesus stated: “I live for goals and just want to score as many as possible. It’s great to score goals in the Brazil national team shirt, but I also love doing it in City colours, too.
“I am enjoying this great moment in my life. I had an injury last season but that didn’t stop me. My team and management really helped me, and they have been great for me in my time in England.
“I learn a lot from Sergio [Aguero] every day, but not just him – I learn from all the team. We learn with each other – I pass on my knowledge to them, and they give theirs to me, so it’s an exchange.”
