Will Mourinho coach PSG?

Jose Mourinho might end up as Paris Saint-Germain’s new head coach next season, as he is dissatisfied at Old Trafford

Manchester United executives won’t have a hard time figuring out why Mourinho decided to leave if that happens at the end of the season.

The manager has been unhappy with the club ever since their failure to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter.

According to ESPN, United should be taking the speculation surrounding Mourinho and PSG seriously and that the French club will look to take advantage of any sign of disharmony between the former Chelsea manager and the Old Trafford hierarchy.

The French side’s current head coach Unai Emery has the team leading Ligue 1 and they have already assured a place in the Champions League knockout stages for themselves.

However, Emery is battling to manage a squad full of big stars, and even bigger egos. In addition, Emery, having failed to win the title last season, will be vulnerable if he does not win the club’s first Champions League trophy in May, ESPN reports.

PSG’s Qatari owners think highly of Jose Mourinho, as the manager has won the Champions League twice, first with FC Porto and then with Inter Milan.

The Portuguese just poured oil on the fire when he admitted publicly in October that he wouldn’t end his managerial career at Manchester, right before praising the “magic” and “special” atmosphere of Paris.

However, the Special One has been criticising his players, the club’s inability to sign Ivan Perisic and even United fans. After all of this trouble, the Red Devils might not think the Portuguese is the right man for the job to lead Manchester United.

In addition, PSG is on a mission to land blows on their biggest European rivals. The French giants beat Real Madrid to Kylian Mbappe, took Neymar from Barcelona and crossed City’s move for Dani Alves.

The Ligue 1 champions know that hiring Mourinho from United would be another huge statement to the world.

The question now is whether United believe Mourinho is worth fighting for. If their answer will be no, the Portuguese may move his belongings to the French capital.
