Joachim Low expects France to come strong

The Germany head coach sees Les Bleus as a more dangerous side than England.

France and Germany will be facing each other on Tuesday in an international friendly and Low expects to see a strong side put his men to a serious test.

“France have a lot of quality in attack. You can swap the players around and you will still have a world-class attack,” Low said as quoted by BBC.

However, the German manager insisted that he will be trying new things out, pointing out that the outcome of the game is not the most crucial aspect: “I want to try things out against France. This is the reason we have these international friendlies. The result is not the most important thing. I can give some players a chance and rest some others.”

Toni Kroos will be returning for his country after missing out Friday’s 0-0 draw against England while Olivier Giroud will likely miss the friendly due to a thigh injury. The Gunners striker will likely be replaced by his Arsenal team-mate Alexandre Lacazette.
