Neymar’s father: Real move impossible for now

Neymar’s father claimed the Brazilian superstar will not join Real Madrid in the near future, and says his son has just arrived at Paris

Despite the 25-year-old being continuously linked to a transfer move back to Spain from his current club, Neymar’s dad says it’s “impossible” for his son to to leave Paris any time soon. Good news for the French club, as they have paid the biggest amount for anyone in the history of the game, as Neymar became the most expensive player with an unbelievable fee of €222 million the Paris side paid to Barcelona in August.

The Brazil international has already scored 14 goals in just 15 matches including all competitions for Unai Emery’s side. Although he has been attacked by many, due to rumours about him having already established uneasy relations with both the Ligue 1 leaders’ head coach Unai Emery and team-mate Edinson Cavani.

Two Spanish football magazines have reported shocking news about Neymar and Real Madrid. Don Balon has claimed that Madrid are planning a blockbusting €250m move for the Brazilian during the next summer, which could be achieved by selling Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Rafael Varane as well.

The other newspaper, Diario Gol insisted Real Madrid president Florentino Perez told the 25-year-old winger to leave Barcelona and move to the French side, making his transfer to the Bernabeu easier in the eyes of many.

“Today, we don’t have this thought. Answering that is feeding an impossible idea, I can’t talk about negotiations in five or six years,” Neymar Sr told Fox Sport Brasil on the topic of his son’s move to Madrid.

“Neymar has a long contract with PSG and he just arrived. We have been here for three months and it is already being said that he is going to leave. It is complicated for people to respond to this type of thing because it feeds what is spoken,” the father claimed.
