Silva knows that Burnley will challenge his team

Marco Silva admitted that his side have got a really tough challenge ahead of them as they are about to face Burnley – Sean Dyche’s side have been doing really well so far and they will be a difficult opponent.

Watford managed to gain just one point from their previous two matches against Manchester United and Tottenham and they want to get back to the right track – and as they are three points behind Burnley, that want to start chasing them. Seventh-placed Burnley have lost just two of their last six league matches and they are continuing with surprising the whole England.

The Spaniard spoke about the upcoming match as he said that both sides are overachieving so far in this season and it will be the moment of truth for them, according to Sky Sports“I think both teams are having fantastic seasons. Very good starts. Of course, myself and Sean Dyche want to continue in the same way. We have a lot of Premier League games [still] to play. Fantastic numbers for us. We don’t change anything, away or at home, we play the same way. For us [it’s] to compete. It’s the same points, for us, home or away.”

Silva admitted that his side have to stay focused mostly on staying in the Premier League and play like that: “Now the realistic aim, the goal we have, is the first, to stay in the Premier League.”

In the end, the former Hull City coach added that they are thinking just about the next game and they have to keep it like that: “You know, more or less, how many points you need to achieve that. This is our goal. Everything changes too fast in football and you need to stay focused. We are thinking day by day, how to prepare well for the next game.”
