Corinthians win classic

Corinthians and Ronaldo on Sunday won the local derby against Brazilian champions Sao Paulo.
With Ronaldo playing all 90 minutes at the Pacaembu won the match 3-1. Cristian scored before the break and Chicao and Jucilei made it 3-0 in the second half before the visitors got a consolation goal.
It was the third time in a row Corinthians won over Sao Paulo. After Sundays result Sao Paulo has not been able to beat Corinthians in their last seven meetings.
Corinthians has now moved up into fifth place in the standings, six points behind league leaders Atletico Mineiro.
