Ronaldo scores hattrick against Fluminense

09-07-2009

Ronaldo scored three amazing goals as Corinthians beat Fluminense 4-2 in a Brazilian Championship game at the Pacaembu stadium in Sao Paulo on Wednesday night.
It was Corinthians' first match after claiming the Copa do Brasil last week, and the Brazilian team delivered another great victory.

Ronaldo scored twice in the first half and once in the second. He opened the scoring in the 24th minute, when he transformed a wonderful pass from Douglas to a superb goal.
Then again in the 35th minute Ronaldo scored his second, and Corinthians' third, with a spectacular strike. Ronaldo dribbled as though he was a mere 22 year old star again, and he rounded both Cassio and Edcarlos before shooting the ball past the goalie.
Six minutes before the referee blew the whistle for the last time in the match, Ronaldo completed his hattrick with another impressive goal.

With this impressive hattrick Ronaldo continues his quest to persuade the Brazilian head coach, that he should appear for Brazil in the World Cup in South Africa next year.
