Juventus are about to make their first big move on the transfer market and sign Douglas Costa from Bayern Munich.

The 26-year-old was becoming unsettled at Allianz Arena, because of the lack of playing time. He has expressed his desire to play more many times and lately it has become clear that he would have to move in order to achieve that.
And the Brazilian winger has reportedly agreed terms with Juventus, over a move to Turin. Costa would sign a four year deal with Juventus, earning €5m per season, plus bonuses. This would mean an increase of €1m from what he is currently earning at Juventus.
Inter were also interested in the player and the Nerazzuri even promised Costa a salary of €8m per season. But the player’s wish to win titles and play Champions League football turned the balance in favour of Juventus.
The only thing left now is for the two clubs to agree on the transfer fee. Juventus paid €30m for Douglas Costa to Shakhtar in 2015. And the Italian will now be looking to get close to €50m for their player. Juventus are planning to submit an initial bid of €35m and the deal will most probably be concluded somewhere in the region of €40m. Bayern will be more willing to lower their demands, if they will manage to sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal, for which they seem to be favourites, as the Gunners are not interested to sell him to Premier League rivals, Manchester City.
Douglas Costa played 34 matches for Bayern last season in all competitions. The Brazilian managed to scored seven goals and provided nine assists for his colleagues.
