Lyon and PSG face off in this round 22 of Ligue 1, in what should be a mouthwatering clash between the two best sides in the league.

Flashscore presents the key facts before the match:

In 38 previous meetings at Lyon in their L1 history, Lyon have won 16, PSG have won nine and the other 13 matches were drawn. In the reverse fixture, PSG managed a 2-0 victory thanks to two unlucky own goals by Lyon!

Unable to beat Angers at home last weekend (1-1), Lyon reacted well on the road last Wednesday, defeating the in-form Guingamp (0-2), earlier this week. Bruno Génésio’s side occupy the second place in the L1 standings.

Really Impressive since early 2018, PSG are in superb form which has seen them beat Nantes away (1-0) and smash Dijon 8-0 at home – the largest home win ever in PSG’s top-flight history!

Players to watch: PSG star Edinson Cavani has equalled Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s club record of 156 goals for PSG in all competitions, scoring one goal against Dijon. The Uruguay international will probably give his best in order to break this record – unless Neymar stops him again…!!

Lyon’s best player so far this season has been Nabil Fekir who has 15 goals and three assists in L1. The French 24-year-old has further highlighted his recent form by finding the net in each of his last five matches in all competitions.

Stat attack: Lyon have won five of their last six L1 matches, scoring two goals in each of these five. They have lost only one of their last 12 matches at home in L1 (W6, D5, L1). Bruno Génésio and his team have lost their four clashes against their opponent.

Unai Emery’ side are on great run of eight straight wins in all competitions. PSG have the highest pass completion rate of any team in Europe at the moment (89.4%) and scored the most goals on the continent (67), level with high flying Manchester City.
