Tottenham’s Mousa Dembele has reportedly caught the interest from the clubs in the Chinese Super League, claims The Sun

The Belgian midfielder has been at Spurs for the past six seasons and has arguably had his finest campaign for the London club under Mauricio Pochettino.

Dembele’s performances in their Round of 16 tie against Juventus in the Champions League left even the Serie A giants impressed and CSL side Beijing Guoan are now believed to be preparing a bid for the 30-year-old.

Due to his contract expiring, Spurs are in the precarious position of needing to make a final decision on his future with Dembele having just over 12 months remaining on his current deal.

After their 5-4 thriller against Leicester City on Sunday, Pochettino admitted that he would like to meet club chairman Daniel Levy to discuss taking a riskier approach in the summer that would involve an increase in transfer funds.

The Argentine is keen to go through with a £150m overhaul of his squad and it has been suggested that Dembele could be one of the departing players.
