The official website of Unai Emery had an image with the slogan: “Proud to be part of the Arsenal family” ahead of his expected appointment later this week
The Spaniard has now officially left Paris St-Germain after the club decided not to renew his two-year deal, despite having won 87 of his 113 games in charge of the Parisians and collecting seven trophies.
Emery has since emerged as the shock favourite to succeed Arsene Wenger at Arsenal and an announcement is expected with this week confirming the appointment.
On Tuesday an image of Emery with the Arsenal crest alongside him appeared on his official website with the above slogan.
It has since been removed from the website itself now bearing an error message to those visiting it.

Manuel Pellegrini has since been named the new manager of West Ham.
