The secret is out! Denmark’s tactics for the World Cup have been revealed with their rivals now aware that they only really have to do one thing – stop Christian Eriksen

A new t-shirt has unveiled the Danish tactics: kick-off, pass to Eriksen; did he score? then start again if not pass to Eriksen.

The 26-year-old had another superb season for Tottenham and his 10 goals and 11 assists helped enable Mauricio Pochettino’s side to finish in third place in the Premier League table.

Eriksen is being widely viewed as Denmark’s marquee player for the World Cup after scoring 11 of their 25 goals during their qualifying campaign and he has been instrumental in the recent positive run of the Danish side with his hat-trick being key in seeing off the Republic of Ireland in the World Cup playoff game in Dublin.

The Danes are hoping to reach the knockout stages of the World Cup for the first time since 2002 and it appears that their hopes will rest mainly on the shoulders of their playmaker.

Denmark are in Group C for the World Cup and will first face Peru before going up against Australia and France.
