Tottenham have agreed to sell Mousa Dembele to an unnamed Chinese club in a deal worth a reported €35m, claims RMC Sport

The Belgium international is now into the final 12 months of his current contract at Spurs and has previously hinted about his possible departure this summer.

While Dembele has stated that he does not intend to make any decisions over his future until after the World Cup, he has reportedly informed Spurs that he will not be signing a contract extension with them.

The 30-year-old has attracted the interest of clubs from the Serie A with Juventus believed to be the favourites in Italy to sign the midfielder.

While the Old Lady are on the verge of signing Emre Can from Liverpool on a free transfer, head coach Massimiliano Allegri would prefer to add another central midfielder to his ranks.

However, it remains to be seen whether Juventus would be willing to match Spurs’ £30m asking price for a player who is now in his thirties.

Reports in Englan suggest that Spurs would prefer to sell Dembele to a Chinese club and all that remains to be seen now is whether he will be willing to end his European football career in favour of a more lucrative deal in China.
