Real Madrid have ruled out making a bid for Neymar.
The Spanish giants have released a statement saying they have no plans to sign Neymar from French club Paris Saint-Germain.
The current UEFA Champions League holders have been linked with a move to sign the Brazilian after Cristiano Ronaldo left the club to sign for Juventus earlier this week.
Neymar who is on holiday at the moment after taking part in the Russia 2018 World Cup with Brazil has been linked with a move to the Spanish capital all summer.
The PSG star scored twice for his country in the World Cup but couldn’t do anything as Belgium sent the Brazilians crashing out of the World Cup in the quarterfinals.
“Given the constant speculation linking PSG star Neymar with our club, Real Madrid will like to clarify that we have no plans to sign the player,” a club statement read.
“There is an extraordinary relationship between both clubs, such that, if Real Madrid wants a player from PSG, the first we would do is go straight to the club.”
Real Madrid have been linked with moves for Kylian Mbappe, Eden Hazard and Neymar as they look to fill the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo.
