Wilfried Zaha rejects Crystal Palace contract offer
during the Premier League match between Watford and Crystal Palace at Vicarage Road on April 21, 2018 in Watford, England.

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has warned interested clubs that Wilfried Zaha is not for sale and that the club have “no interest or desire to sell him”

The former Manchester United winger proved to be instrumental in helping Palace avoid relegation last season in the Premier League following a poor start under former head coach Frank de Boer, which saw the Eagles lose all four of their opening games under the Dutchman.

As such, Zaha has attracted interest from the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund with Everton the latest club being linked with a move for the 25-year-old.

But Hodgson is adamant that Zaha will be going nowhere for the next four years.

Samuel: Jorginho not good enough

Jorginho is not good enough to drive Chelsea to the pinnacle of the game according to the Daily Mail’s chief sports writer Martin Samuel. Chelsea's 2-0...

“What people seem to forget with Wilf is he has got a four-year contract,” said Hodgson, according to the Liverpool Echo.

“There is speculation every year around Messi and Ronaldo too. He is our player for the next four years and the club has got no interest or desire to sell him.”

This announcement comes after Palace had confirmed that Zaha left the club’s pre-season training camp in Sweden due to an unspecified family issue.
