New Manchester City signing Riyad Mahrez has urged his teammates to keep up the good work after their winning start, according to Goal.
The current Premier League holders got their title defence off to a winning start with a 2-0 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates.
Raheem Sterling gave City the lead in the first half before Portuguese playmaker Bernardo Silva wrapped up with the match in the second half with a well-taken strike to hand Pep Guardiola a comfortable 2-0 victory over fellow countryman Unai Emery, who was managing his competitive game for Arsenal.
Mahrez who signed for City from Leicester City for a club-record fee of £60million has urged his teammates not to take their foot off the gas.
The player took to social media to motivate his teammates.

The Algerian featured in City’s 2-0 win over Chelsea in the community shield to win his second trophy in English football.
