Mexican forward Hirving Lozano has reportedly gone to the top of Atletico and Barcelona’s wishlist for next summer’s transfer window.

We have already spoken a little bit about the talented Mexican forward Hirving ‘Chucky’ Lozano, the player who surprised clubs like Atletico and Barcelona last summer with his performance against Germany in the World Cup’s group stage. But Hirving has been delivering great performances in European football since day one at PSV Eindhoven, which is why there is a large number of European giants who are already considering on getting the Mexican player for the next summer transfer window. The only reason why Lozano didn’t leave PSV Eindhoven this summer, was because inside the squad they decided it wasn’t time for him to leave yet and they wanted him to be their most important player at the Champions League group stage this season. The Dutch champions are going to face Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur, and Internazionale Milano with Hirving Lozano as the tip of the spear looking to score the goals.

This second season in European football will be perfect for a club like Barcelona to make a final decision about the Mexican winger, they feel like he could be a great alternative for the time when Lionel Messi decides to retire from football and they are confident the player will respond accordingly to any challenge that presents itself to him at PSV. The Catalan club believes that Hirving Lozano is a perfect prospect for the future, his dribbling skills are one of a kind for Europe and they are aware that not many footballers in the world can do the things he does. And if that wasn’t enough to consider his status as a world-class superstar, Hirving Lozano can also score an elevated amount of goals during a whole season and this is yet another great reason for any big club to come after him. During his first season with PSV Eindhoven, Hirving Lozano scored 19 goals in his first 34 matches in all competitions and he has already scored 4 goals on his first 6 matches on this new season.

Atletico Madrid’s interest.

But FC Barcelona wouldn’t be the only club that is interested on signing Hirving Lozano for their club next season, as Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid has been keeping tabs on the Mexican player for over a year and they would also go after his services according to Diario AS. We’ve already heard from Simeone’s mouth that he doesn’t want to sign his son Giovanni Simeone for the Colchoneros, which leaves the option for another striker next season and the Argentine manager is very keen on Lozano to eventually replace Antoine Griezmann as the main man on the attack. Other major clubs that will be interested in Lozano next summer are Borussia Dortmund from the Bundesliga, Manchester City and Manchester United from the Premier League, as well as AC Milan from Serie A. But if Lozano leaves to another club in the near future, the player would like to give either the Premier League or La Liga a chance before any other competition.

Another thing we can’t ignore about the possibility of Hirving Lozano leaving the Dutch champions is the fact that his “compadre” Erick Gutierrez just arrived in PSV Eindhoven this season and he would love to play a lot more together with him. ‘Guti’ just arrived from Mexican club Pachuca and will take a little bit to adapt, this whole process won’t be the same if Lozano isn’t there to stand by his best friend’s side at least during the first couple of years. We are not joking when we say that Hirving Lozano seems destined to become one of the best players in the world very soon, the top clubs in European football are aware of the bright future ahead of this player and they don’t want to miss on the opportunity of having him in their ranks. Next summer we could have a battle between many clubs to sign the Mexican winger, who already is the best player from his country at the moment.
