Juventus will evaluate the injured Paulo Dybala upon his return from international duty with Argentina
The 24-year-old forward sustained a knee injury in Argentina’s 1-0 defeat to their South American rivals Brazil on Tuesday night.
A stoppage-time goal from Inter Milan defender Joao Miranda was enough to win the game for Brazil and the four-team friendly competition at Saudi Arabia.
But a worrying sight for everyone at Juventus was when Dybala had to be taken off in the 58th-minute of the game for Lautaro Martinez.
Dybala then applied an ice pack to his knee on the bench and watched the rest of the game unfold.
Now Calcio Mercato claims the Argentine will undergo medical examinations once he reports back to Turin.
Although it’s understood that it’s nothing serious at this point and that the tests are more of a precaution.
But Dybala will likely be rested for Juventus’ game with Genoa at the weekend in order to be ready for their Group H encounter against Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Champions League next week.
