For Dieter Hecking the team’s current position is not “a moment” but is part of what they are working for in the Bundesliga

Borussia Monchengladbach is currently in the second position in the German Bundesliga with 20 points.

The team has won six matches, drawing twice and losing two times.

“I’m avoiding the use of the phrase “moment” regarding our position in the table,” he told reporters according to the club’s official website.

“If you’re at second place after ten games, then you’re second, and that has nothing to do with a moment.”

“Of course things could easily change in four weeks time but we are currently second,” he added.

“We shouldn’t take this for granted as the season doesn’t end after ten matches.”

“However, I think the team deserves to be in second place. We now have the challenge of continuing to build on our start to the season on matchday eleven,” he explained.
