The former Piacenza coach said that Manchester United’s manager learned to coach when he was in the Italian Lega Serie A

Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho coached in the Italian Lega Serie A from 2008 to 2010.

The former midfielder managed Internazionale Milan where he won two Scudettos, one Coppa Italia, one Supercoppa Italiana, and the 2019-2019 UEFA Champions League.

And for former Piacenza coach Luigi Cagni, the manager learned his tactics in Italy.

“I learn nothing on a tactical level from Mourinho. If anything, he learned about tactics in Italy. In my view, he knew very little about the subject before coming to Inter,” Cagni was quoted by Football Italia.

“Mourinho is the absolute best at controlling his image in the media. I think he had prepared that gesture in case the game went the way he wanted it to.”

“He was ready to give the excuse about the heat of the moment and all that. I wouldn’t have done that gesture, I’d have quietly gone back to the locker room,” he added.

“Mazzone was passion, heart, and soul. Mourinho is carefully studied in everything he does.”
