Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel has been discussing his team’s disappointing 2-2 draw with Bordeaux on Sunday night.

The German tactician insists his team lost their intensity despite creating so many chances against Eric Bedouet’s side.

“We lost a little intensity in the second half,” Tuchel told the club’s official website.

“Bordeaux took their chance by scoring the equaliser, even if we should have scored a second goal at the end of the first half. We had the chance to extend our lead when we were 2-1 up, we had a lot of chances and could have had two penalties.”

PSG defender Marquinhos also revealed his thoughts regarding the team’s draw, saying:

“It was a good football match. We knew Bordeaux were a good team, when you come here it’s always difficult.”

“They caused us problems, we tried to create chances, score more, and perhaps we lacked a little ruthlessness to win this evening.”

“In the end, I think it’s a deserved draw for both teams. We don’t like dropping points, we came here to win, but things don’t always go the way you want them to. The most important thing is to be champions in May.”
