Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici confirmed they’ve discussed re-signing Paul Pogba many times

The 25-year-old midfielder’s future at Manchester United continues to be clouded in doubt amid a fractured relationship with manager Jose Mourinho.

Pogba has been persistently linked with a move to Barcelona since the summer along with a return to Juventus.

The French World Cup winner enjoyed a successful four-year spell at Turin before completing a then-world record transfer of £89m to United in 2016.

But Pogba’s performances at Old Trafford have failed to live up to his price tag with things between himself and Mourinho appearing to not be improving.

Now Paratici revealed Juventus remains fond of Pogba and have contemplated a reunion with their former star.

“A return? We have already discussed this many times,” said Paratici, according to talkSPORT.

“He’s a great player we’ve had before and are fond of, but now he plays for Manchester United.

“We are exploring the market, the president and Pavel Nedved, with the help of coach [Massimiliano] Allegri.

“To improve the team we are always careful. We still have great players and we enjoy them. It will not be easy to always have so many strong ones.”

Pogba managed 34 goals and 43 assists in 178 appearances for Juventus in all competitions.
