Leicester City manager Claude Puel has revealed he is pleased with his team’s comeback during their draw against Fulham on Wednesday night.
The Foxes travelled to bottom side Fulham, who now boast former Premier League title-winning manager with Leicester Claudio Ranieri as manager, in search of their second win on the bounce.
But after Aboubakar Kamara gave the Cottagers the lead three minutes before half-time it look liked Puel’s side were heading for a defeat until a James Maddison strike earn both teams one point each.
The result leaves Ranieri’s side in 20th position in the Premier League, while Leicester are ninth, and Claude Puel was pleased with his side’s resilient comeback.
“We played a good team, who did well against Chelsea and Southampton,” Puel said, according to FourFourTwo.
“We were up and down in the game and we needed to manage it more.”
“I would like to congratulate my players for coming back, which is a good thing for our mentality. We believed in ourselves and that’s a good sign for the future.”
