Guingamp manager Jocelyn Gourvennec has revealed he’s struggling to make sense of his team’s triumph over Paris-Saint Germain.

Guingamp traveled to the Parc Des Princes to face the defending champions, and recorded a shock a 2-1 victory, thanks to two late penalties.

Guingamp missed an early chance to take the lead after Marcus Thuram missed a penalty in the 61st minute, and were made to pay when Neymar put the hosts ahead a minute later.

Yeni Ngbakoto leveled the scores for Gourvennec’s side in the 81st minute from the penalty spot before Thuram made amends for his earlier miss with a penalty goal three minutes into added time.

“We never know what to expect here, they often put up heavy scores and very quickly,” Gourvennec said, according to Goal.

“With Guingamp or [my former club] Bordeaux, it’s always been complicated here for me. I don’t really know what happened. We managed to get them into trouble.”
