Aaron Ramsey has reportedly agreed on joining Juventus on a free transfer from Arsenal this summer

Following a breakdown in talks over renewal, Ramsey is seemingly set to leave Arsenal at the end of this season after more than a decade at the club.

Due to his contract expiring in June, Ramsey is free to begin negotiations with foreign clubs over a pre-contract agreement this month.

The Wales international has earned himself an excellent reputation in English football for his technical ability and for being a strong runner with the ball.

Ex-Arsenal star Paul Merson even labelled the Gunners’ decision to allow Ramsey to leave for free this summer as a “crime”.

The 28-year-old has earned interest from five big European sides with Juventus confirming their own interest in Ramsey earlier this month.

“Yes, we are interested in Aaron Ramsey,” said sporting director Fabio Paratici.

“He’s a great midfielder but at the moment he’s an Arsenal player. We will see.”

Now Sky Sports reports that Ramsey has decided to join the Serie A champions, who will finalise a deal after their Coppa Italia game against AC Milan next Wednesday.

Since arriving from Cardiff City in 2008, Ramsey has managed 62 goals and 64 assists in 356 appearances for Arsenal across all competitions.

The Welshman also memorably scored the match-winner in two of the three FA Cups he’s won at Arsenal.
