Manchester United caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Marcus Rashford can emulate Harry Kane and become one of the best strikers in the world.
The Tottenham Hotspur striker has scored more Premier League goals in the last four Premier League campaigns and won the Golden Boot at last summer’s World Cup in Russia.
Rashford has scored in five of his last eight games for United and Solskjaer believes the England international can reach the same level as Kane.
“He can become a top, top striker,” said Solskjaer, according to ESPN.
“We can talk about Harry Kane and his class, and I’m sure Marcus as well. He’s got the potential to get up there.”
“He’s got frightening pace, he’s now become stronger and can hold the ball up for us. He’s a great link player. He’s a very exciting player to work with.”
Rashford, who started the season playing on the left-hand side of attack for United under former boss Jose Mourinho, is expected to lead the line for the Red Devils when they Kane and company at Wembley on Sunday.
