Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is determined to erase Red Devils 3-0 home defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last year August by putting up an impressive performance in their Sunday match against the same club.

Pogba missed the win over Reading FC in the Emirates FA Cup third round was a result of an injury he picked up after Newcastle United during their last Premier League outing.

“I remember the first game [against Spurs] when we lost 3-0 at home,” he told official Man Utd website.

”I’ve still got it in my mind. We don’t want to let this happen again.

“It’s Tottenham, you know. They’re a very good team, they’re in the top four, so it’s going to be a big game. It’s going to be a tough one. We need points and they need them as well. We’ll see – it’s going to be a tough one.”

Pogba is confident they have more glass ceiling to break even though they added five successive victories in all competitions in their cart making other clubs looking over shine.

”We’re still far [away] but it’s good that people forget about us a bit,” he said.

“We’re just coming our way, staying focused and trying to do our things – that’s what we need to do.”
