Barcelona were knocked out of the Champions League quarter final by Juventus, but the Catalans have found a way to get their payback, as they are looking into the possibility of signing one of their best players, Leonardo Bonucci

According to Don Balon, the Spanish giants were impressed with Bonucci’s display against them and will now do everything in their powers to sign the 29-year-old defender. His current situation at Juventus is not the best, as recent events seem to have unsettled him. After a heated argument with his coach during Juventus’ 4-1 win against Palermo, Allegri decided to keep the Italian defender out of his squad for the Champions League match against Porto and Bonucci, who has now spent 7 years with Juventus, was not too happy about it.

If Barcelona were to enter the race for Bonucci, they will however face tough competition. Guardiola has made it publicly known that he would love to be able to bring Bonucci at Manchester City, while his former manager – Antonio Conte – is also interested in the defender’s services.
