Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed the birth of his two children via a surrogate mother, and has stated that he will miss the third place play-off on Sunday.
Earlier this month it was revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo had once again become a father via a surrogate mother. But it had not been confirmed by Ronaldo himself until now.
Following Portugal’s loss at the semi-final against Chile in the Confederations Cup, the player confirmed the birth of his sons on Facebook: “I was with the national team, giving my everything as always, despite knowing my children had been born.
“Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach our main sporting objective, but I am certain we will continue to make the Portuguese people happy.
“The president of the Portuguese Football Federation and the national team manager were considerate towards me and it is something which I will never forget.
“I am very happy to finally be with my children for the first time.”
According to the Portuguese TV channel SIC, Ronaldo had a boy and girl who will be called Mateo and Eva via a surrogate mother on the West Cost of America.
Cristiano Ronaldo is already the father of his son, Cristianinho, who is 7 years old.
On top of that The Sun reports, that his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez is also pregnant, and already in her 5th month, so a fourth child might be on the way for the Real Madrid player.
