Bale praises Mourinho’s impact

The Welsh winger believes José Mourinho will bring success to Manchester United in the next season.

Gareth Bale has been speculated to leave this summer, with his keen admirer being no other ,but The Special One himself. Manchester United are still seeking to bolster their squad and Gareth Bale is one of their targets.

However, the Wales international claimed that he was happy at Madrid and he will fight for his spot in Zidane’s starting XI.

Real Madrid recently added the UEFA Super Cup to their trophy cabinet following a 2-1 win over Mourinho’s Manchester United. Despite their loss, Bales sees the positive impact of the Portuguese manager.

“United did very well (in the Super Cup). They gave us a difficult game and I’m sure they’ll do fantastic this season,” said Bale, according to the British Mirror.

“I think it’s getting there, obviously I think by bringing Mourinho in, it’s kind of boosted the club, by winning a few trophies last year, it did them great, and I think they’re getting back to where they belong.

“I see no reason why they can’t do well in the Champions League, he’s a great manager, he’s done everything in football, he knows what he’s doing and I’m sure he’s building a great team for what he hopes to achieve there.”
