Dembélé positive on his return

The youngster believes he will be back on the pitch sooner than most expect.

Barcelona’s latest signing Ousmane Dembélé suffered an injury that required a surgery as doctors stated he will be out for three to four months. During the first half of the Catalans’ game against Getafe, which Valverde’s team won 2-1, Dembélé was forced off the pitch with a serious hamstring injury. The early diagnose suggested that he would be out for a long period of time, but the 20-year-old has decided to keep his chin up as he prepares for quick recovery.

“I will be back in two months” reads a caption by Dembélé’s social media.

The youngster cost initial €105m that can go up to  €145m after add-ons. However, the La Liga giants might not have to pay some of those add-ons as one of the conditions is that Dembélé plays a certain number of games by the end of the calendar 2017. The injury will likely prevent that from happening so Barcelona will have to pay less for the services of the Frenchman.
