Florentino Perez is ready to return to the old habits of buying some of the most expensive players in the world.

After two successful Champions League campaigns, Real Madrid had a slow start of the season this year. Los Blancos’ president is convinced that he needs to invest massively if he wants his team to continue to perform at top level.

For this reason, Perez is already working on the transfer of Harry Kane, from Tottenham, according to Don Balon. Zinedine Zidane had problems in the attacking department of his team in this beginning of the season and Perez thinks he has the solution. However, the solution is not a cheap one. In fact, it’s a €200m solution – this is the bid that Perez is ready to submit to Tottenham for Harry Kane, according to Don Balon.

The same source writes that in order to fund the move for the 25-year-old, Real will look to sell Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale. Harry Kane continued his consistent goalscoring form and started the new Premier League season in force. The English striker scored 11 goals in the first nine matches of the season.

Kane scored 94 goals for Tottenham in the last three seasons. He earned 21 caps for the England national team, for which he scored ten times.
