PSG are planning the transfer of Alexis Sanchez while making sure to comply with the Financial Fair Play regulations.

The Parisian have already made their plans for the summer of 2018. According to Le Parisien, the owners of PSG have found the solution to bring in another big name and avoid UEFA sanctions for the breaching of FFP.

According to the source, PSG is ready to sell Edinson Cavani and are looking to obtain in excess of €80m for his services. Alexis Sanchez is considered the perfect replacement for the Uruguayan striker and Arsenal’s forward would be available for free next summer, when his contract with Arsenal is set to expire.

PSG’s sports director, Antero Henrique has prepared an attractive contract for Alexis Sanchez and the Parisians are even willing to pay the Chilean a signing-on fee of €10m.

However, Arsenal would prefer to sell Sanchez in the winter, so that they can get some money out of the deal and not lose the player for free next summer. Manchester City are PSG’s biggest rivals in the race for Alexis Sanchez. Pep Guardiola’s side have already announced their intention to submit an offer for the 28-year-old in January.

PSG made the biggest transfer in football history this summer, when they paid €222m to Barcelona for Neymar. In addition to that, they have committed another €180m for the transfer of Kylian Mbappe from AS Monaco, which will be paid next summer. This method has been chosen in order to comply with the regulations of the FFP.
